Eggcellent - seriously what other pun is there to use? Happy nearly Easter! How difficult is it to wake up when the clocks go forward?! As I'm still stuck in my dissertation haze of living in pyjamas and staring at a screen 24/7, I thought I needed a break. A break consisting of stuffing my face with the greatest invention ever - creme egg brownies. These brownies aren't a new thing, I made some last year. They're a fun addition to a traditional brownie mix. Preheat Oven: 160 degrees
Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl. Then in a separate bowl combine the sugar and eggs. Add the melted chocolate and butter to the eggs and sugar then combine. Slowly add the flour and pinch of salt. After 15 minutes place the halves into the mixture and bake for another 10-15 minutes, depending on how gooey you like your brownies. Pour the mixture into a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes. While the brownies are cookin' away, half the creme eggs. Once removed from the oven, leave to cool for 20 minutes. It's hard to think of Easter puns but I thought I'd have a crack at it. No? Don't like my yolks?
