It's a SATAYsyfing one. Long time, no post! Now that exams and interviews are over, I need to get my post on. I've got some new ideas so have a butchers in the next few weeks.
Before you add the chicken to the mix, have a cheeky taste of the sauce. If you think it's too salty, throw in a pinch of sugar or if it's too thick you can add some water to thin it. It may sound like a huge quantity but it will cook down and become super sticky. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a bowl and mix with the soy sauce. Chop up the garlic and add to the mix. Next add the peanut buttery goodness and the honey. Chuck in the cayenne pepper and chilli powder. Chop up the chicken and add to the mix. Make sure all the pieces are equally smothered. If you have time, leave it to marinate in the fridge for a couple hours giving it a thorough stir occasionally. When you're ready, cook the chicken on a high heat for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is cooked all the way through. The sauce should turn darker and stickier. Add some chopped chillies and a lemon wedge for an extra kick. Served with noodles and some veggies, you've got yourself a quick, cheap week night meal.

Hi there :) I used lemons in this recipe and just the juice, but I guess if you wanted an extra kick sliced limes would be a winner. Hope this helps!
