I visited the Taste of London food festival and holy cow did I discover some goodies! Here are a few of my favourites from the day. I visited the Taste of London show last Christmas at the ExCel Centre which was fab, but there's something about being outside in the glorious sunshine that just hits the spot. First stop, a little taste of Italy with freshly made ravioli, then onto Kamm & Sons for a Sunshine Mary taster. Then to Thailand - s̄wạs̄dī ! Is it cocktail o'clock yet? Le grub time. Barbecoa - Dry aged rump steak, charred aubergines, shallots, tomatoes, chili & sweet marjoram, cooked to absolute perfection. Too much food to choose from. Dubious about this, but this stuff is INCREDIBLE - BiscuitButter spread...my life is now complete. But the best part of the day.... Tom Kerridge and Michel Roux Jr! Cue awkward cheesy grin. Knackered. Too much food. Send help.
VERDICT: 100% check out the Taste of London event, lovely, family-friendly afternoon and a great excuse to stuff your faces.
